Aldevron, LLC (Fargo, ND) will be the production site for the
reference pDG Helper plasmid (400 mg) and the AAV plasmid pTR-UF11 (150 mg).
These deliverables along with initial pilot lots will be accompanied by the appropriate
release forms and documentation (physically and/or electronically).  Based on the pricing
structures used for similar works that Aldevron has undertaken we
estimate the value of the production of both lots to be $51,000. The value of the pDG
being $36,000 and for the pTR-UF11 being $15,000.

Fisher Scientific has offered to supply laboratory supplies (gloves, disinfectants, etc) related to the manufacture of this reference standard.

On behalf of the Executive and Manufacturing Committees, I would like to thank the above companies for their generous donations.  Your company names will be acknowledged on all future Presentations and Publications that relate to this reference standard and you will be kept up to date as to our progress.

Manufacturing is expected to begin in Q1 of 2005.  The University of Florida will arrange with each donor the ordering and shipping arrangements.

Thank you to Keith Carson and Manisha Trivedi for coordinating the RFP/donation process and posting these accepted bids.

Our next RFPs will relate to the purification of the AAV vector and the Testing and Characterization of the Reference Standard.
